Biography

What an exciting era of humankind? You and I live in a time when our fundamental understanding of genetics is shaping the future of patient diagnosis and care. As a BYU graduate myself, I've had incredible opportunities to stand on the shoulders of scientific giants to realize the application of genomics-guided treatments that influence patient care. My primary research interests focus on predictive biomarkers, big-data visualization, and statistical model development. In other words, I am passionate about predicting the best drug for each patient's tumor based on its unique molecular vulnerabilities.

In addition to research, I enjoy coaching my kids' sporting events, eating garden-grown foods, hiking, and talking about the future.
