Brooke worked with Dr. Michael Whiting and Dr. Seth Bybee lab after having completed two semesters of mentored research. Her research experience includes training in techniques for PCR, DNA sequencing, and data analysis. She worked on population genetics with Lampyridae and expanding her research experience and field work opportunities.
