Makani Fisher, a master’s student in Biology and Teagan Mulford, an undergraduate in Biology, have been focusing on the life history of these lichen feeding moths and their chemical sequestering capabilities. The caterpillars are also known to flick their feces and they are working on documenting the flick and the method for the flicking.
