General Description of the Lab:
- The EEL is located on the first floor of the Widtsoe Building in Room 188 at Brigham Young University. The main lab area has seven smaller rooms that have been set apart for various research prjects. Vast amounts of stroage and publicly accessible supplies are accessible for students and faculty research and can be found in the main portion of the lab. Further, Room 188 E contains the housing and storage of various species of fish that are being bred and used for research purposes.
- In addition to the main lab found directly on campus, the EEL utilizes facilities off campus at the Ellsworth building. The facilities include a large horse barn that is employed for storage of excess materials and large tanks for field reserach that cannot be stored in teh main lab. Indoor and Outdoor facilites for research are also available at the Ellsworth depending on the season and magnitude of the research.
