Current Funded Positions
Postdoctoral Fellowship – I currently have funding from the National Science Foundation (see patagonia.byu.edu) to hire a postdoctoral fellow to conduct research in comparative phylogeography. This position has not been formally posted and the start date is not yet set. However, it will most likely begin Fall Semester 2008 or Winter Semester 2009. Check back here for more details.
Ph.D. Fellowship – I will be accepting one or two new Ph.D. students to begin Fall Semester 2008. Fellowships will be funded at a base rate of $21,000 per year plus partial tuition and health insurance benefits. See Prospective Graduate Students for additional information.
Undergraduate Research Assistantships – Undergraduate students who have spent at least one semester working in my laboratory may be considered for assistantship support to pay them while they conduct their research. Funding for these assistantships comes from my BYU Mentoring Environment Grant or from our NSF-PIRE award (OISE). See Mentored Undergraduate Research for additional information.
