Webmaster – We are looking for a replacement for the webmaster for my lab's site.&npbsp; Information on the position can be found in the following document: Webmaster.pdf.
Postdoctoral Fellowship – I currently have funding from the National Science Foundation (see patagonia.byu.edu) to hire a postdoctoral fellow to conduct research in comparative phylogeography. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and application of methods in comparative phylogeography, targeted specifically at understanding patterns of evolutionary diversification across multiple co-distributed taxa in southern Argentina and Chile. Applicants should be familiar with molecular laboratory techniques required to generate DNA sequence data, and should be comfortable with a broad range of phylogeographic analyses. We will begin reviewing applications on May 10, 2009. We are targeting a start date of September 1, 2009. Salary is $36,000 per year plus health insurance benefits. Ph.D. Fellowship – I will be accepting one or two new Ph.D. students to begin Fall Semester 2008. Fellowships will be funded at a base rate of $21,000 per year plus partial tuition and health insurance benefits. See Prospective Graduate Students for additional information.
Undergraduate Research Assistantships – Undergraduate students who have spent at least one semester working in my laboratory may be considered for assistantship support to pay them while they conduct their research. Funding for these assistantships comes from my BYU Mentoring Environment Grant or from our NSF-PIRE award (OISE). See Mentored Undergraduate Research for additional information.
