Meet…Shalene Hardman
Shalene was born in Murray and grew up in Draper, UT. She is the 4th of six children and has a dachshund at her parents’ house. When she was a little girl she wanted to grow up to be a teacher or a geneticist like her grandpa.
Shalene received her undergraduate degree here at BYU in PDBio. She is currently in her first semester in the Biological Science Education MS program and is a TA for Bio 100. Her favorite class at BYU is/was Organic Chemistry and Pathophysiology.

As you can probably gather from the picture, Shalene loves the outdoors including camping, hiking, running, snow shoeing, and biking. She also loves to play the guitar, read, and laugh :o)
Last year, Shalene went to Portugal…She loved the cathedrals and castles! When Shalene completes her degree, she wants to teach at either a charter school or community college.
